The Rev. Ken Fields, Interim Rector, EmailKenFields3

Kenneth Fields is the Interim Rector for St. Paul’s.  Ken brings a wealth of experience and we are excited to have him join us at St. Paul’s.   Ken retired as the vice rector of St. Martin’s in Houston in 2012 and, one week later, began his first interim assignment at St. Thomas in Meyerland. Since then, he has served four other parishes, from The Heights to Nassau Bay to College Station and, most recently, in Brenham. Prior to coming to Texas, he served for over twenty years in the Diocese of Alabama, finishing there as the rector and chaplain for the Episcopal church on the campus of the University of Alabama. He and his wife, Mary Alice, have been married for almost 49 years, and their daughter, Shannon, and two grandsons, Logan (12) and Jonah (10) live with them locally here in Katy.

Gill started at St Paul’s in September 2013. As a 2007 graduate of the Iona School for Ministry in the Diocese of Texas, Gill previously served at Emmanuel in Houston and Calvary in Bastrop. She has an Applied Mathematics degree and has worked in research and marketing machine tools and as a teacher before following her passion which is Pastoral Care and Outreach. She is a graduate of Education For Ministry, is a Stephen Leader and Community of Hope Leader, and has been a chaplain at MD Anderson Hospital. Gill serves as the co-coordinator for Disaster Preparedness and Relief for the Diocese of Texas. Gill, and her husband Rod, have two grown children and four grandchildren.


JenniferJennifer Kuhn, Parish Administrator, Email

Jennifer joined St. Paul’s in October 2015. She is very excited to leave the legal and construction worlds behind and join the Lord’s House as the Parish Administrator for St. Paul’s. When not at church, she enjoys cooking, creating, and going on adventures with her husband, Casey, and their two young daughters, Kennedy and Riley.

A native Texan, Julia has worked with young people- in both church and school settings- for the past 15 years in Texas, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Centenary College and a Master of Arts degree in Ethics from Sewanee Theological Seminary. For the past five years Julia has been a public school educator, directing middle and high school choirs in Brenham ISD and College Station ISD. Her passion is teaching and leading young people, and in helping them to live out God’s love in their lives. Julia and her husband, Mike, a research scientist at MD Anderson, have three daughters, Layla, Stevie, and Cece.


AaronKatie Aaron, Membership Coordinator, Email

Katie Aaron has been a member of St. Paul’s since 2007 when she and her husband, Kyle, moved to Katy. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in Psychology from Texas A&M University.  She worked for the university in admissions and later in accounting and human resources at an engineering firm in Houston.  Katie and her family have been quite active in the life of the parish. After years of involvement in children’s ministry and vestry, Katie’s role during the week shifted to take on a staff role.  Katie and Kyle have three children: Cooper, Charlie, and Emily.

Kisa is a life-long musician with extensive professional experience as a performer, teacher, and church musician. A native Nebraskan, Kisa received her Bachelor of Music from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She moved to Houston to continue her education, and obtained her Master of Music from University of Houston. She has performing experience in sacred music, opera, and musical theatre. She maintains an active voice studio and has taught private voice lessons to hundreds of students ages 13-65+ through the Moores School of Music Preparatory and Continuing Studies Division, San Jacinto College, and numerous area high schools. She has been a church musician her whole life in Episcopal, Methodist, and Presbyterian choral programs.

Carl McAliley began taking piano lessons when he was nine years old.  He began to study organ during his first year of college at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. Within six months he began playing organ for church services.  He later studied organ at Winthrop College in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and at the Conservatory of Music in Reims, France.  He recently retired from the Harris County District Clerk’s office.  Four years ago he began to learn to play the violin and currently plays in Houston’s Orchestra On Call.


BaltazarJaime and Carmen Baltazar, Facilities Maintenance Team

Jaime and Carmen Baltazar have 3 grown children and all live in the Katy area. Jaime works during the day at St. Batholomew Catholic Church and the family attends there as well. Jaime loves football and Carmen loves to cook and both love to travel.
