Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
St. Paul’s is a rapidly growing congregation with an abundance of young life! Join us as we live into Jesus’s commandment to welcome, teach, and nurture the faith of even the smallest of our St. Paul’s family. Kids of all ages will find a place to worship on Sundays. Find your little one’s place below, or contact Julia Peoples, Family Formation Coordinator, for more information (281-391-2785, ext. 705 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
Nursery: The nursery is open each Sunday from 7:45am to 11:45am and offers a nurturing environment for our youngest to play with one another. The space and activities are designed for those 6 weeks to 3 years old. Each week the children in the nursery will hear a story and do a craft while also having plenty of time to play.
Children’s Chapel: Every Sunday the children of St. Paul’s are invited to begin the 10:30am service in the church, then separate out into their own special service after the Gospel lesson, and return to the church during “the Peace” for the Eucharist. In their short time together, the children mirror what is happening in “Big Church” with their own sermon, singing, and prayers. This way the children of St. Paul’s participate fully in the life of the liturgy while also having a message and prayers that is age appropriate.
Sunday School: All children and youth are invited to join Sunday School at 9:15am. For our younger children, we use the Godly Play curriculum. It is a program designed by the Episcopal Church and based on Montessori principles. For our older children and youth, we use Re:Form. It is a video based curriculum that features thought provoking questions, discussion, and hands-on learning.

Youth: The Youth of St. Paul’s are a growing group of young people in 6th-12th grades. We believe that the youth are not just the Church of tomorrow but of today as well. Youth are involved in many aspects of parish life, including:
- Serving as Acolytes at the 10:30am worship services (4th Grade – 12th Grade)
- Participating in Sunday School and as Children’s Chapel helpers
- Holding periodic youth fellowship & outreach events
- Attending Diocesan events, including Happening and YES retreats at Camp Allen
